OPENING DAY(S) CEREMONIES

IT'S HERE!! Baseball season has arrived and with it comes all the excitement and joys of being on the fields, having fun and playing a wonderful game.
We did not have Opening Day ceremonies last year, but we will make up for that this year. We will be having TWO Opening Day Ceremonies! One will be held this Saturday, April 24. This will include the Majors division and the AAA division. The second "Opening Day" will occur on Saturday, May 1. This will be for the AA and TBall divisions. The reason for the split days is twofold: 1) limit the total number of people at the field, and 2) we do not have to limit the number of family members who can attend.
Both days activities will be similarly scheduled. The 8:30 games will be played. Prior to their completion, the teams that are not playing in those games will gather near the batting cages. PLEASE respect distancing as much as possible. After the games are completed, teams will be organized, those not participating are asked to not congregate, and ceremonies will commence. Teams will be announced and they will stand as teams along the outfield grass (just behind the infield) of Field 1.
Upon completion, the later scheduled games will take place.
We are looking forward to TWO wonderful "Opening Days", and and entire season of fun!
